Everyone is dreaming about pancakes from time to time. We do not always want to leave the house to eat it in the city, and another bad recipe also does not encourage us to do it. It’s time to stop it! The recipe for perfect pancakes is waiting for You.
Pancakes come from the United States and are sometimes called American pancakes. They differ from our addition of soda, baking powder or yeast. Most often they are eaten for breakfast and this form also works for me.
The first mentions of them come from cookbooks from the 18th century. Most often they are eaten with butter and maple syrup, but not sweet versions can surprise You. Today I have a classic version for you with fruit and honey.
- 2 eggs
- 380 ml of milk
- 75 g of melted butter
- 350 g of wheat flour
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder
- 3 tablespoons of cane sugar
- half a teaspoon of Himalayan salt
We mix eggs so that a delicate foam is created. We mix the wet ingredients manually, i.e. milk, eggs and melted cooled butter (I made it in a microwave for half a minute – I do not have to cool it down then because it does not heat up that way). We add sugar to the mass and mix.
Mix together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder and salt. Mix it softly.
Heat the pan and melt some butter on it (only once, at the beginning of frying). The frying pan must be hot, but you have to be careful that the butter does not burn. We put out two tablespoons of mass and fry about 2 minutes. After turning over to the other side, we only fry for a short while. And so 15 to 20 times 🙂
Pancakes prepared for this recipe are enough for 3 people. You can serve them sweet or no. I choose frozen, local fruits and honey.
