A tasty cake is something really nice, and if it has bananas, it’s enough to convince me. Today I invite you to a cake or who likes banana bread, thanks to which you consume the fruits that you have left and you will get a very nice snack.
The inspiration for its creation was a banana bread – a traditional American cake. In Australia, it was available everywhere. You can meet it in the classic version, but also with the addition of nuts or raisins. The version that I suggest to you differs slightly from the original one. It is a bit heavier and more substantial. It tastes bananas and is simply delicious. With us, most often, half disappears before it can cool down.
- 6 very ripe bananas (+1 for decoration)
- 100 ml of oil
- 350 g of wheat flour
- 4 tablespoons of cane sugar
- 2 spoons of baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Crush 6 bananas in a bowl with a fork. We add oil, sugar and mix it. Sift the flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt – add to the banana mass and mix. Put whole into the baking form (size 25x12x8). On top, put banana slices, lightly pressing them into the dough.
Put the dough in the oven preheated to 180 degrees C and bake about an hour. The dough will be ready when the wooden stick inserted into it is dry.
